Point of Sale otherwise known as POS business is one of the businesses a lot of people are doing in Nigeria. Today many university and polytechnic graduates in Nigeria are investing in POS business because it is very easy to establish and requires less energy to control it. I started the business after my NYSC and I'm making profit from it today. You can also invest in the business and be making your daily Profit in as much you can be dedicated. Another good thing about this easy to start business is that you can establish it in any location in Nigeria and be making huge profit on a daily basis.

The list of elements you need to know before you can establish a profitable POS business?

1) Get a location to site your business, then get a metal store otherwise called container or small shop. Please don't waste more money on getting a shop except you want to be doing another business together with it, if not get a small container.

2) You will need a POS terminal from any bank of your choice but is advisable to get it from the bank you already have account with. If you can't get it from a bank due to some hitches, you can get one from any online payment website that is reliable. Make sure you get it from an authorized company and not unauthorized purchase.

3) Get A Startup capital. I will advise you to get at least one million or 500, 000 naira to make the business easy for you to start. You can get a loan from a relative and pay back from the profit you are making as your business is growing.

The list of the things you need to consider if you want to make more profit in POS business.

1) The fact remains that a POS agent located in a market or school environment will be making more profit than the one located in any other area of a town. If you can not see a space in a market or school environment because you need to be where you can easily be seen by passerby, locate your business in a populous environment or a busy street.

2) If you want to make more profit from a POS business, you must get a POS terminal with a good network so you will not be having problem of bad network. Bad network can distract or make you not to have customers.

3) Please get a terminal with low bank charges for you to get more profit for your business to grow. Imagine if bank A is charging 0.2% on each transaction and bank B is charging 0.8% on each transaction. The agent with POS from Bank A will make more profit than an agent with POS from the other bank.

Finally, learn to be peaceful, happy, smile and be friendly with your customers because they are the life wire of your business.
